Takstar Raising Donations for Sichuan Earthquake VictimsOn May 12, 2008 Sichuan province was devastated by the strongest earthquake ever. The demolished buildings buried tens of thousands beneath the rubbles. Employees of Guangdong Takstar Electronic Co., Ltd. actively taking part in the campaign to raise donations for quake-stricken victims. Total amount raised by all staff is RMB 45, 682 and another RMB 100, 000 is donated by the corporation.
The entire donation will be passed onto Red Cross of China to aid refugees. Additionally, portable amplifiers will be provided to schools and education facilities in order to support the reconstruction of education-system in Sichuan. Total amount of the portable amplifiers will be RMB 300, 000.
