| Takstar production base is a gardened building area of approximately 15,000 square meters. Over the years, an integrated production capability has been developed through successfully incorporating an extensive range of processing machines and equipments. The manufactory now primarily consists of an electro-acoustic laboratory centre, assorted microphone and headphones workshops, and branch factories of metal die-casting, machining, plastic processing, surface processing, and printing. The current annual production capability is over 3.5 million units of headphones and microphones.
1. Laboratory Centre
Takstar Laboratory Centre is equipped with Brüel & Kjær Electro-acoustic Analyzer,X-ray Fluorescence Tester, integrated anechoic chamber, Sunlilab Electro-acoustic Analyzer, KSON Temperature and Humidity Chamber, Gotech Tensile Tester, Gotech Vibration Testing Machine, Gotech Drop Tester, Gotech Plug Bending Tester, Gotech Super Daylight Machine, and HL Salt Spray Tester. Other important equipments include Switch Durability Tester, Surface Abrasion Tester, and some relative professional audio systems.
2. Condenser Microphone Workshop
The professional condenser microphone workshop has been designed to be free from dust and static charges. The workshop specialises in producing studio microphones, interviewing microphones, instrumental microphones, conference systems, and a variety of associated accessories. An exceptionally strict precision is applied to the production process in this workshop.
3. Dynamic Microphone Workshop
The workshop for wired dynamic microphones contains two flow lines that are equipped with electro-acoustic testers and integrated assembling tools. Products are developed through component processing, assembling, testing and packaging along the flow lines. The daily production capacity is over 8,000 pieces.
4. Headphones Workshop
The headphones workshop contains three flow lines, an artificial-ear tester, and a number of automatic adhesive machines. The workshop is capable of producing various styles of wired and wireless earphones and headphones that are used for monitoring, travelling, communication, home entertainment, and etc.
5. Wireless System Workshop
The wireless system workshop mainly contains two flow lines, one vacuum pump assembly line, tin silk-screening machine, hot air convective soldering machine, microwave cleaning machine, and two shielded rooms that are equipped with integral radio frequency analysers. This workshop manufactures VHF and UHF microphone systems of various designs and costs, and other wireless products including voice amplifiers.
6. Metal Processing Workshop
The metal processing workshop is equipped with a die-casting machine, a number of digital lathes, milling machines, punching machines and polishing machines, and handcrafted fusion casting facilities. The workshop produces the metal components including microphone bodies and mesh for subsequent production.
7. Plastic Processing Workshop
The workshop is capable of processing various types of plastic materials such as ABS, PVC, PP, POM, NAS, and PBT. It has a number of vertical and horizontal injection machines, a drying machine, colour mixing machine, and crushing machine. The workshop produces the plastic components for subsequent production.
8. Surface Processing Workshop
The surface processing workshop contains equipments for electroplating, sandblasting, spray painting, heat treating, and silk-screening. The workshop focuses on the improvement of the ruggedness and appearance of products.
9. Printing Factory
The printing factory has an extensive production capability including print designing, plate making, offset printing, paper box binding, and gift box binding. It has five offset presses, one of which is Heidelberg 4-colour, and other printery essentials such as punch cutting machines, bronzing machines, and co-extruded filming machines. The large scale printing facilities promote prompt provision of packaging materials, advertisement posters and product brochures.
